School Policies
All students attending St. Rita School for the Deaf are subject to the rules and guidelines outlined in the Student Handbook. Students and parents must review and sign the Responsible Use of Technology policy.
Uniforms are worn by students in grades K-12. Students are expected to attend school every day, Monday-Friday, unless they are sick or have an excused absence with their families for travel, funeral, etc.
Students who miss school are expected to make up any missed work at home and turn it in to the teacher by the assigned due date. If a student is absent on a day when they are scheduled to receive a related service, the student’s therapist will make an effort to make up that missed service on another day and time, but may not be able to do so.
Parents need to contact the front office if their child will be absent from school, arriving late, or leaving early.
School hours are 7:45 AM – 2:45 PM, Monday-Friday, following the school calendar.
